Sharni Vison, an Australian American dancer/actor, was born on July 22 1983 in Sydney Australia. Her first acting role came in 201 when she was asked to be part of the Australian Soap soap opera Home and Away where she had a minor role in two episodes of the series. The performance she gave in that small character was so impressive that the casting agent of the show asked her to be cast in the principal roles in the series. She however did audition for the role but was not selected instead on the same show, she was cast in the role of Cassie turner who was a troubled teenager who is placed in foster care.
